　　研究院，在學術界，稱其為科學試驗的研究機構。是大學之后的進階教育研究機構，一般設于大學中，以“某大學某研究生院”的形式存在，也有獨立設立者。研究院與研究生院是兩個不同的概念，但港澳地區一般將“研究生院”稱為“研究院”。

　　自2018.2.26日起，北京各區工商局已下發通知，暫停關于研究類，研究院公司的注冊。
